The role of the CBD Place Manager is to to help shape the future of the City Centre by providing a direct link between Council and the City Centre community including local business people, retailers, shoppers and residents.
The CBD Place Manager role will involve managing projects including:
- Ensuring carefully guided planning for the City Centre
- Improving the Liverpool City Centre streetscape.
- The development of more pocket parks such as the ones which have recently been completed in Bathurst and Moore Street
- The Shopfront Façade Program which encourages businesses to paint the exterior of their premises, funded by a Council subsidy
- The installation of new interpretative signage highlighting Council’s heritage
- Improvements to Pioneers’ Memorial Park over the next two years.
Liverpool City Council's CBD Place Manager is Martin Daley.
Mr Daley is available every Thursday between 10am and 11pm in the Green Room, Level 2, at Liverpool Library, George Street, for people wishing to meet with him to discuss issues relating to the Liverpool City Centre. He can also be contacted on 9821 8846 or email m.daley@liverpool.nsw.gov.au
