In 2010, Liverpool City Council will celebrate its 200th year, the Bicentenary. For this important anniversary, Liverpool City Council are looking to appoint a Town Crier to attend the bicentenary events.
This voluntary position would require either a male or female person with a loud voice and large lung capacity to appear at the council’s bicentenary events. The successful candidate will be required to make public announcements at Bicentenary events from 7 November 2009 to 8 November 2010. Successful applicants will go through an audition process.
