Akmal Live and Uncensored at Casula Powerhouse
When: Friday, 27 November Time: 8pm Cost: Full $35, Concession $30, Member Full $22, Party (10+) $28, Member Concession $17
Bookings: 9824 1121
Akmal returns to Sydney armed with some classic classics and some new classics for one very funny hour. What a huge year Akmal had in 2008. His brand new DVD was nominated for an Aria Award for Best Comedy Release and his own, nationally syndicated drive show on the NOVA network continued to grow from strength to strength.
Akmal has certainly cemented a place in the hearts of all comedy-loving Aussies. Akmal continually displays an incredible ability to deal with hot topics in a non-offensive way, as he touches on issues such as religion, terrorism and hysterical looks at modern day life in Australia.
He’s been on TV shows such as “Rove Live”, “The Footy Show (NSW)”, “Spicks & Specks” and memorable guest spots on the brilliant “Thank God You’re Here” & “Good News Week.”
