Self Employment - New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS)

Job seekers who are interested in running a new small business may be eligible to participate in the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS), delivered as part of jobactive.

What is NEIS?

NEIS is a programme delivered by a network of 21 providers who provide individualised help for job seekers to become self-employed business owners.

Employers looking for staff

If you need staff for your business there are a number of services, programmes and incentives.

Your local jobactive provider will work with you to understand and meet your staffing needs. They will refer potential employees and provide support after they start.

Your jobactive provider can also provide you with access to a number of wage subsidies to help you increase your workforce.
