Did you know?
Local registered clubs with gaming machine profits of over $1m are required to contribute 0.75% of their profits to Category 1 CDSE funding. This aims to assist community organisations to meet local community development and community service needs.
In Liverpool a local committee has been formed to oversee the application process, consisting of club representatives, Council, DoCS and NCOSS. This is known as the Liverpool Local CDSE Committee. This Committee considers all Category 1 applications.
Note: Applications for Category 2 funding (including sporting, cultural & other activities) are administered directly by the clubs.
The CDSE Scheme is open to community-based organisations running projects or services in community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance.
Detailed information on the CDSE scheme is available from the ClubsNSW website on www.clubsnsw.com.au.

cdse reports for previous applicants
Organisations must submit a report upon completing the project. Clubs should not consider further applications until they have received a report on previously funded projects.
In some cases, a funded project will be only partly underway when a recipient wants to apply for further funding for another project. In these situations, you will need to complete a Progress Report outlining how the funds have been spent so far and the plan for the future of the project, including a timeline for completion. If the project has been delayed, the organisation should provide information as to why it has not run to schedule.
Recipients should also advise the funding club of any changes in the circumstances of the project (such as what the money will be spent on, who will benefit from the funding, how they will benefit), and obtain the club’s written approval prior to making any changes.
If you have previously received funding for a project, you must submit a Standard Funding Report upon completion of the project.
