Collingwood house dates from 1810 and was the home of Nantucket whaling captain Eber Bunker. Known as the "father of Australian Whaling", Bunker was part of a whaling venture in the 1790s which took the first whales in Australian waters. Collingwood House can be found on the Hume Highway, near Congressional Drive, about 20 minutes walk from Liverpool Railway Station. Ample free parking is available.
