The Community Donations Program enables Council to offer funding to the community to assist in providing programs and services which meet identified community needs. There are three categories of funding:
- Youth Donations: for residents aged 12-24 to assist with the cost of participating in conferences or similar events which enhance leadership skills and local community involvement.
- School Donations: which offer a $100 prize for an exceptional student to be given at local high schools annual end-of-year awards ceremonies. School donation application forms will be sent directly to high schools.
- General Community Donations: for non-profit, incorporated organisations providing services to people in the Liverpool local government area. Community Donations are offered once per year on a one-off basis.
Applications for Youth donations are accepted quarterly. Applications for Community and school donations are accepted annually, usually during the end of the first quarter of the financial year (July – September). Opening and closing dates for applications are updated on this website.
Applications are now open. All applicants must complete the relevant application form, address the criteria which are included in the Community Donation Program Guidelines and submit applications by 5.00pm Friday 9 October 2009.
