COMMUNITY DONATIONS PROGRAM
The Community Donations Program enables Council to offer funding to the community to assist in providing programs and services which meet identified community needs. There are three categories of funding:
• Youth Donations: For residents aged 12-24 years to assist with the cost of participating in conferences or similar events that enhance leadership skills and local community involvement. Applications for Youth donations are accepted quarterly.
• School Donations: For local high schools to award a $100 prize to an exceptional student, to be given at annual end-of-year awards ceremonies. Applications for School Donations will be accepted annually and are scheduled to re-open in September 2012
(Please note: School donation application forms will be sent directly to high schools)
• General Community Donations: For non-profit, incorporated organisations providing services to people in the Liverpool Local Government Area. Community Donations are offered once per year on a one-off basis. Applications for Community Donations will be accepted from Monday 3 October 2011 until 31 October 2011. Applications for General Community Donations are accepted in October each year.
