Community Forums

Community Forums provide all residents of Liverpool with the opportunity to be informed of changes in their neighbourhood, find out what is happening in their area, share information with other residents and provide feedback on the delivery of Council services and facilities.

Residents living in the areas as outlined below are invited to come along to their relevant forum and meet their neighbours. At its meeting in December 2011 Council resolved to combine the former Eastern Forum and Central Forum into a single Urban Forum. Information on topics covered in previous community forums may be found in the agendas and meeting notes below. The operation of forums is governed by a Council approved charter which may be downloaded below.

For more information regarding Community Forums please contact Phillip Lee on 9821 9302 or phone Council's Customer Contact Centre on 1300 36 2170.

COMMUNITY FORUM CHARTER

The operation of community forums is governed by a Council approved charter. Among other matters the charter defines the scope of the forums and the role of the chairperson. A new charter for Community Forums was adopted by the Council at its meeting on 29th August 2011. This was amended by the Council decision on 19 December 2011 to combine the then Eastern and Central Forum into the Urban Forum. A copy of the updated charter may be found here.
