Police Issues

Liverpool City Council Rangers and Parking Patrol Officers undertake many functions on behalf of the community, however, are limited in their powers to enforce certain laws.

The NSW Police are responsible for numerous community related issues, such as:

  • Neighbourhood disputes;
  • Trail / Motor bikes;
  • Unregistered Vehicles;
  • Street Drinking;
  • Noise pollution from stereo systems; and
  • Driving Offences.

Council is unable to take any action in relation to the above complaints, and will refer these issues to the Local Police. Most of the issues that are addressed by Council can also be addressed by Police outside of normal business hours.
