Public Exhibition Of Draft Liverpool Local Environmental Plan 2008 (Amendment No. 68)


PUBLIC EXHIBITION

Liverpool City Council is publicly exhibiting Draft Liverpool Local Environmental Plan (LLEP) 2008 (Amendment No. 68) that seeks to reclassify and rezone underutilised Council land.

Draft Liverpool Local Environmental Plan 2008 (Amendment No. 68) aims to reclassify the following lands from ‘Community’ to ‘Operational’:

  • 6 Moore Street, Liverpool (Lot 102 DP 1151429);
  • Bernera Road, Prestons (Lot 154 DP 867979 and Lot 3046 DP 869842); and
  • 24 Atkinson Street, Liverpool (Part Lot 78 DP 27242).

It is also the intent of Draft Amendment No. 68 to reclassify the following land from ‘Community’ to ‘Operational’ and rezone the land from RE1 Public Recreation to R2 Low Density Residential, together with the associated development standards, consistent with the adjoining residential land:

  • Forcett Close, West Hoxton (Part Lot 1001 DP 1006332).

A copy of the Planning Proposal and relevant information will be on public exhibition from 27 September 2017 to close of business on 27 October 2017. The documents will be available for download from Council’s ePlanning portal at www.liverpoolplanning.com.au by searching for RZ-5/2016 or may be viewed at Council’s Administration Building, Ground Floor 33 Moore St, Liverpool, during the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Written submissions are invited from the public and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and received by the close of business on 27 October 2017 (quoting file ref RZ-5/2016).

A public hearing will also be held. Notice of the date, time and location of the public hearing will be publically notified following the close of the public exhibition period. Please indicate in your submission if you would like to attend the public hearing.

The lodging of a(n) submission/comment/objection is voluntary. However, if you choose not to lodge a(n) submission/comment/objection your views will not be taken into account by Council in relation to this matter.

Any information that you choose to provide to Council will be used by Council or its agents to process this matter. Once lodged with Council, the information you provide can be accessed by you and may be also available to third parties in accordance with Council’s Access to Documents Policy.
