ROLE OF COUNCILLORS

Liverpool City Council is divided into two wards being North and South.

The role of Councillors is to make decisions about the running of the community and the Council. Councillors listen to the issues and ideas of individual residents and community groups and make strategic and policy decisions. The Mayor leads Council meetings and represents Council on formal occasions. Liverpool City Council Councillors
