In 2008 as a member of the Liverpool Community Independents Team (LCIT) I was elected as a Councillor and by my fellow Councillors as Deputy Mayor. I have been a resident of Liverpool since 1954 and educated in local Schools and TAFE Colleges.
During my career as a Head Teacher of TAFE in Electrical Engineering for more than 36 years, I have met many students and residents that persuaded me to become actively involved in the direction and growth of our City.
I am especially interested in making Liverpool a City that our residents can be proud of and support the concept where Liverpool celebrates its role of gateway to Australia.
I am married with four daughters and six grandchildren and I owe them a special effort to ensure Liverpool is the best place for them to thrive in.
