Help enhance the endangered woodland at Mannix Park

Did you know the bushland at Mannix Park is part of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland?

Enthusiastic volunteers have the opportunity to learn about biodiversity and help repopulate local species during a community tree planting day on Sunday March 18.

From 9am until 11.30am, come along, plant a tree and find out why this area of Liverpool is so special.

Tree planting events are an opportunity to meet like-minded people, increase your knowledge of the environment and create habitat for local wildlife.

No experience is necessary, but those attending are asked to please wear enclosed shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a long sleeved shirt. Bring a water bottle and gardening gloves, if you have them.

Council will provide all tools and refreshments, including a free BBQ lunch for all participants.

For more information please phone 9821 7788 or visit the What’s On section of Council’s website.
