Karress Rhodes

Councillor Rhodes first moved to Cecil Park in 1974 and has increasingly become more involved in Liverpool ever since.

Previous work has included, engagement as a Land Engineering and Survey draftsperson charged to develop a graphics department, responsible for town planning exhibitions at Bankstown Council and later Marketing Manager at Crackerjack Communications.

She currently operates her two businesses in the Liverpool area.  A Graphic Art and Printing business operational since 1978 and a Locality Magazine operational since 2009.

Business Awards have included 2013 NSW Business Chamber Excellence in Business Ethics Finalist South West Sydney Region and 2015 Liverpool City Council Australia Day Award for Small Business.

She has served as a Director or Committee member on several Liverpool Boards including 2GLF, The Liverpool Women’s Health Service, Liverpool Council Events and Economic Development Committee, Warwick Farm Steering Committee and the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. NSW (Director and Secretary)

Councillor Rhodes believes it is an honour and a privilege to be able to serve Liverpool as an independent councillor to determine and assist in delivering outcomes in the best interest of Liverpool.
