What is Corporate Reporting?
Liverpool City Council is answerable to the community for the running of the Liverpool local government area. One of the ways this is done is through the creation of Council reports, known as Corporate Reporting.
Frequent reviews and updates must support any long-term vision. Corporate Reporting is the process of managers measuring the progress of their unit in fulfilling the objectives and key performance indicators within the Annual Plan. This performance is measured quarterly.
Liverpool City Council's Annual Report
Liverpool City Council's Annual Report is released at the end of the year, each year, as required by the Local Government Act, 1993.
It contains information such as the State of the Environment Report, human resource activities, programs to promote services and access to services for residents, activities for children, multicultural programs, contracts awarded, condition of infrastructure, financial reports and more.

Heritage Conservation Management Plan
Council is the custodian of many assets and properties which have cultural and heritage significance. Such assets are generally listed in the heritage schedule of the Liverpool Local Environmental Plan due to their assessed State heritage significance. Some of the more significant properties are also listed on the State Heritage Register, and are subject to the provisions of the Heritage Act, 1977.
For its more significant heritage assets Council is progressively preparing and/or reviewing Conservation Management Plans.
The principal aims of the plans are to establish the cultural significance of the properties and to provide guidelines to assist with "best-practice" asset management of the sites. The plans provide policies to maintain and enhance their heritage significance and formulate guidelines for future uses, conservation and restoration works.
Following public exhibition, Council has adopted Conservation Management Plans for the following properties:
Management Plan
Each year, local councils must prepare a Management Plan with respect to:
(a) the council's activities for at least the next three years (b) the council's revenue policy for the next year.
