Liverpool’s Delivery Program and Operational Plan are closely aligned with Growing Liverpool 2021 which is our Community Strategic Plan. The Delivery Program and Operational Plan outline the role Council has in delivering on Growing Liverpool 2021. The Delivery Program usually runs over a period of four years and details the principal activities of Council.
Each principal activity has a corresponding detailed activity for an individual year. This is our annual Operational Plan. For simplicity our Delivery Program and Operational Plan are presented together in two documents: the Delivery Program and Operational Plan (Sections 1 to 3) and the Statement of Revenue Policy (Section 4).
The local government legislation requires that the Council place the program on exhibition for a minimum of 28 days by making copies available to the public and to take account of any submissions received. This legislation also specifies that the Delivery Program and Operational Plan contain a range of financial information such as the budget, capital works program and pricing policy. It also forms the framework for public reporting by the Council on a quarterly and annual basis.
Delivery Program 2011-2015 and Operational Plan 2011-2012 This was adopted by Council on Monday 27 June 2010. Copies are available at Council’s customer service counters at Level 2 or 33 Moore Street, Customer Service Counter on the Ground Floor, Liverpool City Library (170 George Street) and may be downloaded below.
