Liverpool City celebrated its 200th Birthday on 7 November 2010. As a Macquarie Town we were a planned settlement by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1810 and are the fourth oldest town in Australia.
To celebrate this historic event Council launched year long celebrations which commenced with the Bicentennial Order of Liverpool Awards on 7 November 2009.
There were many events and festivals that happened including the Bicentennial Australia Day at Woodward Park on 26 January as.
