Liverpool has pristine bushland, many kilometres of waterways and areas of great natural beauty.  We have the Georges and Nepean Rivers, Chipping Norton Lakes and a huge wilderness area of national importance at Holsworthy.  We are also faced with the pressures of a growing city and effects of human behaviour and technology such as pollution, waste, noise and land degradation.
