Located beside Casula Library, Childcare Centre and within short walking distance to Casula Shopping Mall, Casula Community Centre has full kitchen facilities and an outdoor electric BBQ and play area, making it a popular site for children’s birthday parties and family functions.  It is also well-suited for community activities such as play groups and performing arts classes.  The main function room holds up to 100 people, features timber flooring and a brickface interior.  This venue has a public and off street parking and is fully accessible.

Damage Deposit Bond
Category A hirers – casual and permanent pays a refundable damage deposit.


Additional Bond – High Risk Events
Birthday functions – 16 to 40th birthday’s inclusive, adult functions, weddings, engagements, hens and bucks parties, Christmas parties (before 23rd December - no facilities are open during Christmas period) receptions and any other function that Community Facilities Management determines as a high risk. Refundable bond to customer pending no breaches occurred from event. This fee is in addition to the standard bond of $500.00.


Compulsory Facility Static Guard
For last 4 hours of functions that Community Facilities Management determines as a high risk event (refer to Additional Bond: High Risk Events)
Fees to apply to evening bookings only Monday to Sunday. Non-refundable. CFM to be notified by Customer Service accordingly.


Hourly Rate outside of Weekend Block Rate
Hourly rate outside of weekend block rate (applies to Category A, B, C, D) minimum 1 hour and maximum 2 hours only — block charges apply for further extra time requested. Time applies only to day of booking and not before 8.00 am or past 11.00 pm.
Request to be made on Friday or last working day before weekend of function. Community Facilities to manage this request.


Administration Fee
First occurrence:  rescheduling within (5) working days per booking will be free of charge.  Second occurrence: cancellation fee applies.

Bouncing Bunyips

Bouncing Bunyips is all about fun for children aged 0 - preschool.  There is bouncing, wiggling, bubbles, jumping, shaking and much more to funky music and classic nursery rhymes.  Children of all ages express themselves through music, silly songs make them laugh, music ignites all areas of child development - intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together so why not bring your little one along and see what fun you are both missing out on.
