Enforcement and Parking Services


The Enforcement and Parking Services Unit provide Law Enforcement functions under the Local Government Act, as well as other legislation administered by Council.

Council’s Rangers are responsible to ensure the community is kept safe from things such as roaming dogs, hazardous waste or pollution from illegal burning. The Rangers also respond to resident complaints relating to abandoned vehicles, footpath obstructions, water restrictions and animal noise complaints.

The Enforcement and Parking Patrol Officers also patrol the Liverpool CBD, Local Shopping Centers and stations, as well as School Zones to identify instances of illegal parking, and may issue penalty infringement notices in relation to detected offences.

The Unit provides a much needed service to the community to ensure that residents and visitors are provided with a safe and accessible area in which to travel.

The Enforcement and Parking Unit monitors all public places within the Liverpool area, and addresses the following issues:
