Toda International Friendship Association
In 1996 Toda City established the Toda International Friendship Association (TIFA). The role of the association is to foster friendship and cultural exchanges between the communities of Liverpool and their city. In 2003 TIFA also took on the additional role of managing the annual Student Exchange Program.
Since 1996 TIFA has arranged for the visit of numerous groups of Toda residents to Liverpool. The members of these visits are keen to experience the Australian way of life and learn how we deal with issues such as education and the aged.
