Expressions of interest - Liverpool City CBD - public car parking

The Liverpool City Centre will be experiencing rapid growth over the next few decades as it transforms from a traditional large suburban town to the
Metropolitan Regional City for south west Sydney. The aim of the Project is to increase the public car parking capacity of the southern City Centre. The
Project is just one part of an overall Car Parking Strategy for the Liverpool City Centre. Liverpool City Council is seeking proposals from organisations with multi-level car parking construction and management expertise.

The Project will include, but not be limited to:

  • The demolition of the existing Northumberland Street Car Park and development potential of the site in accordance with the Liverpool Local
    Environment Plan 2008
  • The construction of a multi-level car park within the Southern City Centre with a minimum capacity of 600 car parking spaces
  • Management of the constructed public car parking facility

Liverpool City Council is calling for “Expressions of Interest” for all or part of the projects listed above.

Key components of the evaluation will be:

  • The ability to deliver, and experience with similar car parking facilities
  • Availability and experience of key personnel and team
  • Organisational profile and approach
  • Construction methodology to maximise public car parking accessibility during the construction
  • Understanding of the key delivery issues and strategies.

All Expressions of Interest must be received before 4pm Wednesday, 16 December 2009.

For the information pack please contact Karen Michelutti on (02) 9821 9511.
