Expressions of Interest

Council is seeking expression of interests for community representatives to participate in the ENVIRONMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE. The Committee is the key link between the local community and Council and acts as both a focus and forum for the discussion of technical, social, economic and cultural issues in relation to the environment conservation and flooding. The purpose of the Committee is to provide effective community feedback on environment and flood related issues so that Council can make informed decisions on environmental and floodplain management.

The committee is made up of Councilors, community members and industry representatives. Council will appoint memberships for an initial term of two years with meetings occurring on a quarterly basis.

Council welcomes the opportunity to work closely with the community in delivering positive outcomes for the Liverpool local government area.
