Our Events team will drop you a line if tickets become available.

Gates open at 5pm and the event finishes at 10pm. We recommend arriving early to get a spot. At the end of the event, the events staff will assist departure of the event in sections to ensure safety of all patrons.

Yes, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the capacity at each event will be capped. Council is closely working with local authorities to ensure the event complies with COVID-19 guidelines. Each attendee above 12 years old will be temperature checked upon entry.

Compliance with COVID-19 guidelines is mandatory for all participating vendors. Each participating vendor is registered as a COVID-safe business. Attendees at the event will be required to register via a QR code at entry of the event and with all vendors.

To keep the community safe, we have designed the events over three locations and over two nights to ensure residents from the suburban areas can enjoy a community event. We encourage you to attend the event closest to where you live.

Council advises there will be no parking available in the immediate vicinity of the Wattle Grove and Prestons event sites and limited parking at the Liverpool event site.

For each event, Council encourages attendees to walk to the site or use public transport.

Bus Routes - Transdev Route 901

Closest Train Station - Holsworthy Station – then Bus 901 to event

Prestons:

Bus Routes - Interline Bus Service – 852, 851, 854, 855 & 869

Closest Train Station - Edmondson park Station – then Bus 869 to event

Liverpool:

Car Park - Limited Street Parking & Liverpool Railway Station Commuter Car Park – Free. – Entry via Bigge Street

Parking Station - Warren Serviceway Carpark – Entry via Dewsbury Serviceway off Bigge Street or George Street. Paid parking: casual parking 1hr - $3, 2hrs - $5, 3hrs - $7, 4 hrs - $10, 5 hrs - $13, all day $16. No weekend or after hour rates available.

Bus Routes - Transdev Bus Routes – 901, 903, M90, 902 & 904

Closest Train Station - Liverpool Train Station – then walk to Bigge Park

Accessible parking can be arranged upon request for each event site.

Security bag checks will be enforced upon entry to the event. Please check our ‘prohibited items’ list below to ensure you are aware of what not to bring to the Love Summer event.

For safety reasons, Council staff, event crew and security, reserve the right to check your bags upon entry and during the event and will confiscate any prohibited items such as alcohol.

You sure can, but why would you? There will be plenty of tasty and affordable food options that cater for every dietary requirement. Food items will be priced to be family friendly.

The event will be licensed, and a bar will be available to purchase an alcoholic beverage. Bringing your own alcohol is not permitted.

Smoking will not be permitted at all the event sites.

For safety reasons, you are unable to bring your own esky / barbeque or shade structure. There will be plenty of seating available. We encourage attendees to bring their own picnic blankets and pillows. There will be bean bags available for hire at each event. If you wish to bring a chair, please note you will be placed towards the back of the venue to ensure attendees views are not blocked.

Items prohibited at Love Summer include:

·         Alcohol and illicit substances of any kind;

·         Glass bottles, glassware or breakable containers;

·         Eskies, barbeques or shade structures;

·         Weapons of any kind, including any item that can be used as a projectile;

·         Knives or Scissors;

·         Fireworks, sparklers or flares;

·         Laser pointers;

·         Drones or any other remote-controlled device;

·         Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards or skates;

·         Animals (excluding service animals);

·         Cameras and recording devices for commercial use (unless approved by Council); and

·         Other items deemed by security, police, or event coordinators, as having the potential to cause injury or public nuisance.

For the safety of pets – particularly when it comes to loud noise from entertainment – animals are not permitted on the event grounds.

Photos can be taken for personal use. We encourage attendees to submit a photo at the event to Council’s Instagram using the hashtag #lovelivo.

Professional photography (including the use of tripods for safety reasons) will not be permitted on the night without prior consent from Liverpool City Council’s Communications team.

Due to COVID-19, stallholders will not be accepting cash. All stallholders will have EFTPOS facilities available.

The show must go on! If weather conditions become extreme and pose risk to attendees, performers and crew, the event may be cancelled. Notification will be provided via Council’s social media channels.
