As the sun sets and dusk ensues over Liverpool, Macquarie Mall will come alive with the Most Blessed Nights Street Food Market every weekend in April, showcasing the many tantalising flavours of Liverpool.

April will be a sacred month for many in our community and this event is set to be an enticing celebration of the many cultures that make up our regions colourful tapestry, and the values that underpin our city: unity, family, and togetherness.

These blessed nights will see Macquarie Mall adorned with beautiful lights, colours, and aromas, transforming it into a place where the community can gather and indulge in sweet and savory delicacies.

Make sure you head down to the Most Blessed Nights Street Food Market and taste the many flavours that enrich the fabric of Liverpool and beyond on a plate!

Most Blessed Nights Street Food Market will be held from 5pm – 11pm in Macquarie Mall, Liverpool on the following weekends:

Yes, entry to this event is completely free.

Where can I get tickets?

You will not be required to book a ticket to enter this event. However, please be advised the event will be adhering to existing public health orders at the time of the event which may include limitations on capacity.

What time can I get there?

The event will begin at 5pm and finishes at 11pm. At the end of the event, the events staff will help you to depart the site as efficiently and safely as possible.

Is this event COVID Safe? 

Yes, this is a COVID Safe event. We expect attendees and vendors to adhere to existing COVID-19 guidelines.

In the lead up to the event, Council will continue to work closely with NSW Health and local authorities to ensure the event complies with COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time. This might mean that the event will be subject to capacity limitations, and you may be required to provide your COVID-19 digital certificate as a condition of entry. Council will make this information available via our social media channels.

Each participating vendor is required to be registered as a COVID-safe business.

Accessible parking can be arranged upon request for each event site.

Will I be searched upon entry?

For safety reasons, Council staff, event crew and security reserve the right to check your bags upon entry. Please check our ‘prohibited items’ list below to ensure you are aware of what not to bring to the event.

Can we bring our own food?

You sure can, but why would you? There will be plenty of tasty and affordable food options that cater for every dietary requirement. Food items will be priced to suit a family-friendly budget.

Are there vegan / vegetarian / gluten free options?

There will be plenty of food options that cater for every dietary requirement.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Bringing your own alcohol is not permitted and will be confiscated if found on your person.

Can I smoke at the event?

Smoking will not be permitted outside of the designated smoking areas at the event.

What items are prohibited?  

Items prohibited at Most Blessed Nights include:

  • Alcohol and illicit substances of any kind;
  • Glass bottles, glassware or breakable containers;
  • Eskies, barbeques or shade structures;
  • Weapons of any kind, including any item that can be used as a projectile;
  • Knives or Scissors;
  • Fireworks, sparklers or flares;
  • Laser pointers;
  • Drones or any other remote-controlled device;
  • Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards or skates;
  • Animals (excluding service animals);
  • Cameras and recording devices for commercial use (unless approved by Council); and
  • Other items deemed by security, police or event coordinators as having potential to cause injury or public nuisance.

Can I take photos / film at the event?

Yes, photos can be taken for personal use. In fact, we encourage you to capture your memories of the night and post your social media profiles using the hashtag #lovelivo. We’ll send you some love and reshare the best snaps on our socials.

Professional photography (including the use of tripods for safety reasons) will not be permitted on the night without prior consent from Liverpool City Council’s Communications team.

Will vendors accept cash? 

We strongly recommend you use a credit or debit card to purchase refreshments. Vendors will have EFTPOS facilities available.

Are there ATMs on site?

There are multiple ATMs available on-site. All vendors will also have EFTPOS facilities available.

What happens if it rains?

In the event of heavy rain, Council may choose to postpone or cancel an event. Notification will be provided via Council’s social media channels.

Stallholder EOI - 2022 Most Blessed Nights Street Food Market

We are inviting food vendors from all over Sydney to join us in the celebration of community and the joy of sharing a meal.

Vendors will have the opportunity to delight the senses of thousands of visitors by showcasing sweet and savory delicacies from their corner of the globe.

‘Most Blessed Nights’ Street Food Market will be held from 5pm – 10pm on the below dates, in Macquarie Mall, Liverpool.

  • Weekend 1: Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April 2022
  • Weekend 2: Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April​ 2022
  • Weekend 3: Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April​ 2022
  • Weekend 4: Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April 2022
  • Weekend 5: Friday 29, Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May 2022

Key Facts:

  • The event is limited to 20 food vendors and 1 coffee vendor per weekend (subject to change). Vendors will be offered a weekend trade (Fri-Sun) on a rotating roster allowing for an event distribution of offerings and opportunities for applicants.
  • Event entry will be free for attendees;
  • Food vendor proposals will be judged on selection criteria, chosen based on food & beverage offering, with preference to Liverpool LGA or southwest business; and
  • COVID -19 Compliance is mandatory. Food vendors will need to provide their Covid-19 Safety Plan and register as a Covid Safe business. Covid-19 practices and compliance measures will reflect Covid-19 restrictions as per the most up-to-date Public Health Order issued by the NSW Government and are subject to change.
