Project scope: This urban renewal project supports the social, economic, and recreational needs of the community and will stimulate confidence in the area.
The redevelopment will include an indigenous community garden, multi-purpose community hub, dual soccer/cricket sports oval and half basketball court, a children’s playground, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic facilities and footpath network providing residents with access to facilities that help improve their quality of life.
The upgrade to Phillips Park is being delivered as part of the Western Sydney Parklands City Liveability Program (WPCLP).
