Expression of Interest & Application Form

Liverpool Council is on the lookout for mobile food trucks for council’s facilities and showcase events.

Expressions of interest are currently open for a number of locations around the Liverpool LGA.

  • Mobile food vehicle capacity will be capped and will trade on a rotating roster.
  • Minimal application fees.
  • Mobile food vehicles proposals will be judged on selection criteria and chosen based on the broad audience appeal of offerings, self-sufficiency, popularity, experience and the capacity to service Liverpool’s multicultural community.
  • Most recent Food Safety Inspection Report (less than 12 months old) issued by your home Council.

Selection Criteria

  • Preference to businesses in Liverpool LGA & southwestern Sydney.
  • Preference to mobile food vehicles based on accessibility, bump in and out requirements and the location capacity.
  • The type of food offering proposed to suit dietary requirements.
  • The total number of mobile food vehicles that are delivering a similar product
  • The mobile food vehicles set-up, including requirements, configuration, access and must be self-powered, onboard water and wastewater management system.
  • Mobile food vending vehicle own marketing channels and social media presence, following, customer engagement and assistance in promoting the activation locations.
  • Provision of high-resolution images of the menu items proposed to assist in promotion.
  • The applicant’s experience dealing with high volume crowds and quick turnover.
  • Menu price point to ensure food offerings are affordable and family friendly.

Signage and theming are at mobile food vending vehicle operator discretion and will need to be disclosed pending approval.

Disclaimer – Food Trucks are to be self-sufficient - It is recommended the food trucks are equipped with power, onboard water and wastewater management systems as part of the mobile food vehicle selection process. Water and power may not always be accessible onsite.
