The Local Government Act (1993) requires each council to have a Community Strategic Plan (CSP) that has been developed and endorsed by Council.

The CSP identifies the main priorities and aspirations for the future of the local government area covering a period of at least 10 years from when the plan is endorsed.

Councils are required to develop a CSP that addresses the quadruple bottom line of civic leadership, social, environmental, and economic issues, and is based on the social justice principles of equity, access, participation and rights.

The Community Engagement Strategy details how Council will engage with the community and how you can have your say in shaping the future of your city.
