Art Crew, a community-driven public arts initiative that aims to enrich a culture of multiculturalism by engaging young refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers in public art, has provided three artworks, including two murals

  • The first mural celebrates Multiculturalism and Freedom, with the imagery of flowers, birds and water.
  • The second mural is about Youth Vision inspiring the Future. It features a collage of inspiring symbols and drawings that the Art Crew participants created over three months.

Julia Townsend is a contemporary Australian painter working predominantly in abstraction.

She designed her mural to successfully integrate into the surrounding environment and help improve the overall attractiveness and enjoyment of the Railway Serviceway.
