The annual report outlines Council’s 10 year Sustainability themed strategies, including 'Lead the Community to Develop and Implement Sustainable Practices' and 'Reduce Adverse Environmental Impacts for Present and Future Generations', as well as accompanying goals, activities and actions.
State of the Environment Report
The State of the Environment (SoE) Report is an important tool which aims to provide the local community and Council with information on the condition of the environment to assist in decision-making. The SoE must report on the Council’s delivery of the environmental objectives in the Community Strategic Plan and is produced within the annual report every four years. The most recent SoE is available in the 2015/16 Annual Report.
Sustainability blitz workshop
Council's Sustainability Blitz Workshop Series occur monthly and deliver practical and tips on how to live a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle. These workshops are free.
