Phillips Park has been transformed into a state-of-the-art precinct, benefiting Lurnea and surrounding communities. The renewal of Phillips Park will support the social, economic, and recreational needs and interest of the community. This new precinct offers the following facilities:
- A multipurpose Community Hub including program and meeting rooms, a café, a large function room, outdoor space and kitchen facilities
- Flexible and multi-purpose sport courts
- Sports fields
- Inclusive play space
- Carpark
- Recreation areas and shelters;
- Outdoor fitness equipment
- New pedestrian paths
The renewal of the Phillips Park Precinct is made possible through funding from the Western Sydney Parklands City Deal-Liveability Program.
