Liverpool City Council publicly exhibited the Draft Concept Plan proposing the landscape upgrade at Grimson Park, West Hoxton. The local park is situated on corner of Twenty Seventh Ave and Kirkpatrick Ave within the residential area of West Hoxton.
The Draft Concept Plan included the provision of the following:
- A new children’s playground with new coloured rubber safety surface;
- New concrete footpath connections;
- Outdoor fitness gym;
- Installation of new park furniture; and
- Landscape improvements including new garden beds and tree planting.

Community consultation on the draft concept plan for Grimson Park closed on 6 February 2022.
Liverpool Council would like to thank local residents who viewed the concept plan and provided valuable feedback on the proposed improvements to Grimson Park. The concept plan has been finalised in response to the comments received, and Council will now proceed onto the next stage of the project design documentation. It is anticipated construction works will commence in September 2022.
