Acacia Park, Prestons Local Park Construction - Community Survey

Liverpool City Council is publicly exhibiting the Draft Concept Plan for a local park construction at Acacia Park, Prestons. It is a green field site on Grevillea Crescent and Acacia Avenue located within a residential area, servicing the local community in Prestons.

The Draft Concept Plan includes the provision of the following:

· A new children’s playground with new coloured rubber safety playground surface;
· New concrete footpath connection between Grevillea Crescent and Acacia Avenue; 
· Installation of new park furniture; and 
· Landscape improvements including new garden beds and tree planting.

The Acacia Park consultation survey is now closed.

Liverpool Council would like to thank residents for participating and provided us with valuable feedback during the community consultation on the proposed improvements to Acacia Park.  The concept plan has now been finalised in response to the comments received, and Council is now proceeding onto the next stage of the project of design documentation.  It is anticipated works on site will commence towards the beginning of next year.
