Lieutenant Cantello Reserve - Pump Track

UPDATE ON PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF PUMP TRACK AT LIEUTENANT CANTELLO RESERVE, HAMMONDVILLE

Council apologises for the delay in issuing the final concept design for the Lt Cantello Reserve Pump Track. A number of changes have occurred since the initial proposal, and feedback received through community consultation has informed a revised design for the facility.

We are currently progressing an updated concept that will deliver a more advanced track, designed to accommodate a wide range of ages and skill levels.

We have also recently been advised that the proposed pump track site is located on land in close proximity to coastal wetlands (mapped under the Resilience and Hazards SEPP). As a result, development consent (DA) is required and the project will proceed through the DA approval process prior to construction.

Subject to obtaining DA approval, the next steps will include finalising the concept design, detailed drawings and preparing documentation to tender the construction works.

Should you require further information, please contact Council by email via lcc@liverpool.nsw.gov.au quoting 2024/2890.
