Liverpool has Mayor Wendy Waller has welcomed the Australian Broadcasting Corporation to Liverpool after the national broadcaster opened a pop-up newsroom in the city for one month.
Mayor Waller also welcomed the announcement that ABC Radio Sydney’s number one Drive host Richard Glover will broadcast live his weekly comedy show Thank God It's Friday! from the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre from 5pm on Friday, 26 March.
Cassie McCullagh’s morning program Focus will broadcast from Liverpool City Library during the Easter holidays on soon to be released dates.
The ABC will operate the news room for four weeks from Monday 22 March to Friday 16 April 2021.
