Overview

This page lists the top 27 parks out of a total of over 500 parks and playground areas that are managed by Liverpool City Council. Many of these parks have barbecue facilities, picnic areas, walkways, cycleways, play equipment and sporting fields. There are four parks that are purposely built with inclusive playgrounds (parks that provide accessible toilets, parking and play area).

Liverpool City Council also maintains a number of other specially designated parks and playgrounds area, some of which have Outdoor Fitness Gyms, Off-Leash Dog Areas and Skate Parks.

The City of Liverpool is also home to two of Sydney's most significant rivers - the Georges River and Hawkesbury-Nepean River. Both offer numerous locations to take in the relaxing vistas.
