Unleash your imagination at our vibrant craft workshops, then dive into the Adventure Zone — packed with exciting games and thrilling amusement rides the whole family will love!
Amusement Rides & Games
There will be an array of different amusement rides and games tailored to all ages on Railway Street and Scott Street from 10am till 10pm. Please head over to the ticket booths to purchase a single ticket or a wristband for the entire day.
Monkey Play
Bring the kids along for a day of fun! Our FREE mobile play centre will be open on Scott street offering a safe and exciting environment for children of all ages.
There will be a dedicated soft play mat area perfect for toddlers to crawl, explore, and play safely. For the bigger kids, there will be an adventurous mobile jungle gym that will keep them entertained and active.
Our friendly events staff will monitor all sessions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, with each session holding a maximum of 40 children at a time for 30 minutes from 10am till 10pm.
Craft Workshops
Join us for a day of creativity and culture with our FREE craft workshops, open to all ages and exclusive to event patrons! Whether you're young or young at heart, there's something for everyone to enjoy
- Rangoli Sand Art – 10am till 1pm
- Indian Diya Lamp Decoration – 2pm till 5pm
- Elephant Sculpture – 6pm till 9pm
All materials are provided for each of the craft workshops, and our friendly facilitator will guide you through each activity.

Event Patrons can head over to the Face Painting and Henna art stalls and get a FREE design from 10am till 10pm.
Library Storytelling
Please head over to Scott Street and join in our FREE library storytelling session hosted by our Council Library team from 10am till 8pm.
Cultural Workshops
Don’t miss the chance to learn something new and exciting! Head over to George Street and take part in our FREE cultural workshops, proudly presented by our talented community organisations.
Dhol Drumming Workshop
Feel the rhythm and learn the basics of Dhol drumming, a high-energy traditional Indian percussion style that brings the festival to life from 1:30pm till 2pm.
Bollywood Dance workshop
Move to the music and pick up some fun Bollywood dance moves in this lively, beginner-friendly session. The two sessions are;
- 3pm till 3:30pm
- 7pm till 7:30pm
Join us for an exciting Curry Cook-Off in Liverpool, where Sydney South West’s cooks will showcase their culinary expertise in a battle of flavours!
The competition will commence at 5pm and ready to be plated up by 7pm for judging.
The winner will be announced at 7:45pm on the main stage and be prized of $1000.

Event Parking:
There is ample parking available near George Street. Please see details below:
- Northumberland Street Carpark: Approx. 7-minute walk to event via the arcades which lead to George Street.
- Warren Serviceway Carpark: Approx. 6-minute walk to event via Old Library Forecourt.
- Liverpool Civic Place Carpark: Approx. 3-minute walk to Event via Scott Street.

Ample public transport routes are available with the event site a short walk from Liverpool Train Station and Bus Terminal via Railway Street.
Please note that the Bus Stop on George Street near Scott Street will be out of use between Friday 26th September 6pm to Sunday 27th September 2025, 6am. An alternate bus stop will be made available at Memorial Avenue near Bathurst Street. Please ask Traffic Control staff or event crew for directions.
Will I be searched upon entry?
For safety reasons, Council staff, event crew and security reserve the right to check your bags upon entry. Please check our ‘prohibited items list below to ensure you are aware of what not to bring to the event.
Can we bring our own food?
You sure can, but why would you? There will be plenty of tasty and affordable food options that cater for every dietary requirement. Food items will be priced to suit a family-friendly budget.

Does this event have alcohol?
The event will be licensed, and a bar will be available to purchase alcoholic beverages. Bringing your own alcohol is not permitted.
Can I smoke at this event?
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted at this event.
Can I bring an esky/BBQ/shade structures?
For safety reasons, you are unable to bring your own esky/barbecue or shade structures.
Any stallholders bringing a shade structure must have approval from Events staff prior to bringing it on site.
What items are prohibited?
Items prohibited at the event include:
- Alcohol and illicit substances of any kind;
- Glass bottles, glassware or breakable containers;
- Drones or any other remote-controlled devices;
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards or skates;
- Animals (excluding service animals);
- Eskies, barbecues or shade structures;
- Weapons of any kind, including any item that can be used as a projectile;
- Knives or scissors;
- Fireworks, sparklers or flares;
- Laser pointers;
- Cameras and recording devices for commercial use (unless prior approve by Council; and
- Other items deemed by security, police or event coordinators as having potential to cause injury or public nuisance.
Can I bring my pet?
Dogs are allowed to be outdoors at the event so long as they are kept on a leash and are well behaved. Only service dogs will be granted permission indoors.
Liverpool City Council will not tolerate any aggressive behaviour or excessive barking and owners must clean up after their pets. If this is not adhered to, Council staff reserve the right to remove dogs from the event site at any time.
We are expecting many young families at this event and any pets attending must be accustomed to children.
Can I take photos/film at the event?
Photos can be taken for personal use. We encourage attendees to post photos to social media and tag @LiverpoolCityCouncil and use the hashtag #loveliverpool.
Professional photography (including the use of tripods for safety reasons) will not be permitted without prior consent from Liverpool City Council’s Communications Team.

Are there ATMs on site?
ATM’s will not be available on site.
I am a local resident – how will this affect me?
Road closures will be in place from 6pm Friday 26th September, and reopen again to the public on 6am Sunday 28th September.
VMS Boards will be employed a week before the event notifying the public of the event, road closure, and alternative routes. From the 6pm Friday 26th September, traffic controllers will be deployed to the closed streets, and redirect vehicles to alternative routes.
What happens if it rains?
The show must go on! If weather conditions become extreme and pose risk to attendees, performers and crew, the event may be cancelled. Notification will be provided via Council’s social media channels.
Media Accreditation?
Media requests should be directed to our Communications team to receive accreditation to photograph, film or run interviews at the event – communications@liverpool.nsw.gov.au
