Applications are open for appointment of a Community Representative to Liverpool Council’s Local Planning Panel.

Liverpool City Council conducts the Liverpool Local Planning Panel (LLPP) to determine planning applications for local development.

The LLPP consists of a chairperson, two independent experts and a representative of the local community.

We are looking for another member to join our RCL3079 panel until 12 April 2025 with a 12-month extension option.

Your role as an LLPP member is a part-time, paid role starting on 13 April 2024. The position will be paid in accordance with the rates contained in the application.

Selection criteria

You will be expected to contribute constructively to panel discussions, attend around three (3) meetings until 12 April 2025 and help determine applications for new development in your area.

Mayors, Councillors, property developers and real estate agents are not eligible to apply.

Tenders are being called on behalf of Liverpool City Council for the park upgrade works at McGirr Park which include:

Portion A – Playground: a new children’s playground, pathway connections and landscaping.

Portion B – Youth Breakout Area - a new outdoor fitness gym, half basketball court, table tennis table and park furniture.
