Getting involved with Council Events

Liverpool City Council proudly hosts a variety of major events, festivals throughout the year, as well as hundreds of exhibitions, community events, workshops and hands-on activities at Casula Powerhouse Arts CentreLiverpool Regional Museum and Liverpool libraries.

Performers, stallholders and volunteers are required for a majority of our events, while our major events provide the perfect opportunity for organisations, businesses and media to align their brands with ours.

Council’s Major Events Sponsorship Proposal will equip you with all the information your organisation needs to make the first step towards working with Liverpool City Council and reaching thousands of people across greater Sydney.

Cash or in-kind contributions are subject to Council's Incoming Sponsorship Policy.

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from stallholders who would like to trade at Council events held in Liverpool between May 2019 and December 2020.  This includes food, information, arts and crafts, commercial goods etc.

By registering your interest with Council, you will be notified via email when applications are open for our upcoming events.

Please note that submission of an EOI is used as an expression of interest only and does not guarantee that your stall will be included in one of our events.

Not all applicants will be successful, however information will be added to the Liverpool City Council Stallholder database for future consideration. Successful stallholders will be contacted via phone or email to confirm their availability.

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from emerging and established performers and entertainers who would like to showcase their talents at our events held in Liverpool between May 2019 – December 2020.

Council accepts EOIs from performers and artists who are individuals, ensembles, collectives, or theatre/production companies. Performances can include live music, theatre, circus and aerobatics, performance art, or anything of a performative nature.

Please note that submission of an EOI is used as an expression of interest only and does not guarantee that your performance will be included in one of our events.

Not all applicants will be successful, however information will be added to the Liverpool City Council entertainment database for future consideration. Successful performers/entertainers will be contacted via phone or email to confirm their availability.

Current EOIs for Events

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from volunteers to help with our Australia Day celebration.

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated volunteers to help out in making this event a success. Please see the application for more details on the available volunteer positions.

Liverpool City Council is seeking Stallholder Expressions of Interest to trade at Australia Day on Sunday 26 January 2020 at Woodward Park, Liverpool.

As spaces are limited, not all applications will be successful in obtaining a space. Council reserves the right to use its discretion to accept or decline any Expressions of Interest. Council will not be required to provide you with any reason if your Expression of Interest is not successful.

Further information may be requested once your application has been successful. All stallholders must have a valid public liability cover before participating at any of the events.

Applications close on the 15 December 2019.

Liverpool City Council will be hosting its annual Australia Day event at Woodward Park in Liverpool on Sunday 26 January 2020, 5pm - 10pm. The event features live entertainment, carnival rides and delicious food which celebrates the city’s multicultural identity and fireworks.

This event is an opportunity for businesses in Liverpool to connect with the local community.

Council is calling for EOIs from local businesses to contribute to the event goodie bag. We will give away 200 bags in total.

Contributions must be a giveaway. These can include, but should not be limited to:

  • competitions
  • vouchers
  • merchandise

Submissions are due by Friday 10 January 2020 at 5pm.

Other EOIs

Council is requesting expression of interest to provide a recipe of your choice to feature in the visitor guide.

The recipe is an opportunity for you to showcase your business free of charge. The recipe must be in English and should represent your business unique offerings.

Council will photograph the food outlined in the recipe and your business for the visitor guide.

Liverpool City Council will be launching its new visitor guide Love Liverpool at the Liverpool Growers and Foodies market on Saturday 28 March 2020, 7am-1pm. The event features live entertainment, local produce and delicious food which celebrates the city’s offerings and things to see taste and do in the local area.

This event is an opportunity for businesses in Liverpool to connect with the local community.

Council is calling for EOIs from local businesses to contribute to the event goodie bag. We will give away 100 bags in total.

Contributions must be a giveaway. These can include, but should not be limited to:

  • competitions
  • vouchers
  • merchandise
