Other EOIs

Liverpool City Council (Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from local businesses to offer non-cash prizes for a gratuitous Council-run competition.

The aim of the competition is to encourage rate-payers in Council’s local government area (LGA) to receive their Council rates online. This is in line with Council’s vision to encourage environmental sustainability by reducing Council’s footprint on paper usage.

More than 245,000 rates notices are mailed to residents and businesses annually.

The competition is open to all rate-paying residents and businesses, across the local government area (Ratepayer).

Council will insert a leaflet in the next mail out to more than 72,000 Ratepayers on the week commencing 22 July.

The leaflet will have information about the competition and the prizes on offer, which may include details of participating businesses who have donated a prize.

To be eligible for a prize, Ratepayers must:

  • Register to receive their rates online via eNotices; and
  • Register for our monthly Liverpool Life eNewsletter.

Ratepayers who follow this process will be placed into a winning prize pool and selected at random.

Councillors and Council staff including their immediate family members are not eligible to receive a prize.

The competition will be promoted on Council’s social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram which reaches more than 24,000 people. Council will also update its current rates web page to include details of the prizes on offer from the competition.

This EOI is limited to businesses from the Liverpool LGA.
