Liverpool City Council proudly hosts a variety of major events, festivals throughout the year, as well as hundreds of exhibitions, community events, workshops and hands-on activities at Casula Powerhouse Arts CentreLiverpool Regional Museum and Liverpool libraries.

Performers, stallholders and volunteers are required for a majority of our events, while our major events provide the perfect opportunity for organisations, businesses and media to align their brands with ours as sponsors or partners.

Council’s Major Events Sponsorship Proposal will equip you with all the information your organisation needs to make the first step towards working with Liverpool City Council and reaching thousands of people across greater Sydney.

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from stallholders who would like to trade at Council events held in 2021. This includes food, information, arts and crafts, commercial goods etc.

By registering your interest with Council, you will be notified via email when applications are open for our upcoming events.

Please note that submission of an EOI is used as an expression of interest only and does not guarantee that your stall will be included in one of our events.

Not all applicants will be successful, however information will be added to the Liverpool City Council Stallholder database for future consideration. Successful stallholders will be contacted via phone or email to confirm their availability.

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from emerging and established performers and entertainers who would like to showcase their talents at our events held in Liverpool in 2021.

Council accepts EOIs from performers and artists who are individuals, ensembles, collectives, or theatre/production companies. Performances can include live music, theatre, circus and aerobatics, performance art, or anything of a performative nature.

Please note that submission of an EOI is used as an expression of interest only and does not guarantee that your performance will be included in one of our events.

Liverpool City Council hosts a variety of events and festivals throughout the year. We are now able to slowly resume face to face events and would like your assistance to help make these a success. We are currently looking for assistance for our July events which include NAIDOC Week, Thank You – Gala Dinner, Thank You – Community Day and Winter Festival.

NAIDOC Event: NAIDOC Week celebrations will start from 5 July to 9 July 2021 in Liverpool. During this week, there will be activities across Liverpool libraries, the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and Miller.

NAIDOC Week Celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. This Annual celebration hosted by Liverpool City Council and local organisations dedicated to promoting and raising awareness about Aboriginal culture.

Thank You Gala Dinner: Saturday 17 July 2021. The Gala Dinner will be a black-tie sit-down dinner celebrating local charity organisations doing great work in the community.

Liverpool City Council’s Thank You Gala Dinner combines delicious food with live entertainment in space transformed to envision a beautiful destination each year. In 2021, attendees will be transported to the picturesque Italian town of Tuscany. The aesthetic will be the relaxed, organic side of Italy – the vineyards, villas and European Street markets and will feature earthy tones, timbers, foliage, romantic lighting and will incorporate lemons/citrus fruits. The event raises funds for a key beneficiary each year. The event will be located at Liverpool Catholic Club’s Grand Ballroom and will feature entertainment, giveaways, fund raising initiatives and a gourmet 3 course meal.

Winter Activation: Saturday 7th August 2021. Carnes Hill Community and Recreation Precinct will host a festival bringing the community together to celebrate with traditional winter activities and entertainment.

A wonderful night-time winter event at Carnes Hill Precinct will highlight the local amenities and services on offer at Carnes Hill Precinct and encourage the community to return and utilise these services. Winter Activation Carnes Hill will include local entertainment, market stalls, rides and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

  • A meal voucher to use at the event (depending on event)
  • Volunteers will receive a “Certificate of Appreciation” post event
  • Volunteer Induction & Training Session

All Expressions of Interest will be assessed as received. You will receive a call or email to discuss your application. Please note applications are due a week out from each event date.

NAIDOC Week Miller Community Celebration, 7 July 2021

Liverpool City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for Stallholders to register to trade at Council’s NAIDOC Week Miller Community Celebration event. This includes information, promotions, crafts etc.

As spaces are limited, not all applicants will be successful in obtaining a space. Council reserves the right to use its discretion to accept or decline any Stallholder Expression of Interest.

All Expressions of Interest are due by 5pm Friday 11 June 2021. Any late or misdirected applications will not be accepted.

All stallholders must provide a valid public liability cover and COVID Safety Plan.

NAIDOC Week Miller Community Celebration – Wednesday 7th July 2021

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from emerging and established performers and entertainers who would like to showcase their talents at the NAIDOC Week Miller Community Celebration.

Each performer will get to showcase their talent at our Community event located in Miller to celebrate NAIDOC Week. We will be working and implementing COVID safe practices throughout these performances and giving the community a showcase of our local talent.
