Getting involved with Council Events

Liverpool City Council proudly hosts a variety of major events, festivals throughout the year, as well as hundreds of exhibitions, community events, workshops and hands-on activities at Casula Powerhouse Arts CentreLiverpool Regional Museum and Liverpool libraries.

Performers, stallholders and volunteers are required for a majority of our events, while our major events provide the perfect opportunity for organisations, businesses and media to align their brands with ours.

Council’s Major Events Sponsorship Proposal will equip you with all the information your organisation needs to make the first step towards working with Liverpool City Council and reaching thousands of people across greater Sydney.

Cash or in-kind contributions are subject to Council's Incoming Sponsorship Policy.

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from stallholders who would like to trade at Council events held in Liverpool between May 2019 and December 2020.  This includes food, information, arts and crafts, commercial goods etc.

By registering your interest with Council, you will be notified via email when applications are open for our upcoming events.

Please note that submission of an EOI is used as an expression of interest only and does not guarantee that your stall will be included in one of our events.

Not all applicants will be successful, however information will be added to the Liverpool City Council Stallholder database for future consideration. Successful stallholders will be contacted via phone or email to confirm their availability.

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from emerging and established performers and entertainers who would like to showcase their talents at our events held in Liverpool between May 2019 – December 2020.

Council accepts EOIs from performers and artists who are individuals, ensembles, collectives, or theatre/production companies. Performances can include live music, theatre, circus and aerobatics, performance art, or anything of a performative nature.

Please note that submission of an EOI is used as an expression of interest only and does not guarantee that your performance will be included in one of our events.

Current EOIs for Events

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from volunteers to help with our multicultural food festival Liverpool on a Roll.

This is a food festival with a twist, with visitors able to try a plethora of tasty treats presented “on a roll”, such as burgers, banh mi and burritos. There will also be live music, giveaways, garden games and a pop-up beer garden.

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated volunteers to help out during October and November to make this event a success. Please see the application for more details on the available volunteer positions. Applications close 9 October 2019.

Christmas in the Mall:

Date: Saturday 30 November 2019, 1-8pm

Where: Macquarie Mall, Liverpool

Carnes Hill Christmas: Christmas in Carnes Hill Precinct

Date: Thursday, 19 December 2019, 3-8:30pm (time subject to change)

Where: Carnes Hill Community & Recreation Precinct – 600 Kurrajong Rd, Carnes Hill 2171

Liverpool City Council is seeking stallholder expressions of interest to trade at Christmas in the Mall and Christmas at Carnes Hill Precinct. This includes food trucks/ vendors and community stalls. This is an outdoor event.

Christmas is a time of Joy. Liverpool Christmas in the Mall celebrates our diversity with carols from a variety of cultures in different languages. The event ends with the annual Christmas tree lighting at 8pm.

The first of hopefully a much anticipated annual Christmas event at Carnes Hill Community & Recreation Precinct, offering fun, entertainment and festivity for all.

The event will include performers, food trucks and a festive movie to enhance the Christmas experience, culminating with a brilliant light display across the Precinct.

Both events are suitable for all ages.

As spaces are limited, not all applicants will be successful. Council reserves the right to use its discretion to accept or decline any Stallholder EOI.

All expressions of interests are due by 5pm, 18 October 2019. Any late or misdirected applications will not be accepted.

Where: Grand Flaneur Beach, Chipping Norton

Liverpool City Council is seeking stallholder expressions of interest to trade at NYE: Light Up The Lake. This includes food trucks and vendors selling light-up and glow products and showbags. This is an outdoor event.

From the very best of international cuisines to local stalls, a dedicated carnival zone with fun rides, family entertainment and spectacular firework displays at 9pm and midnight – Liverpool’s lakeside celebration is the place to be on New Year’s Eve.

As spaces are limited, not all applicants will be successful. Council reserves the right to use its discretion to accept or decline any Stallholder EOI.

All expressions of interests are due by 5pm, 31 October 2019. Any late or misdirected applications will not be accepted.
