Getting involved with Council Events
Liverpool City Council proudly hosts a variety of major events, festivals throughout the year, as well as hundreds of exhibitions, community events, workshops and hands-on activities at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Liverpool Regional Museum and Liverpool libraries.
Performers, stallholders and volunteers are required for a majority of our events, while our major events provide the perfect opportunity for organisations, businesses and media to align their brands with ours.
Sponsorship and Partnership
Be part of a thriving city that continues to attract positive media attention for its innovation, growth and development. Council’s Major Events Sponsorship Proposal will equip you with all the information your organisation needs to make the first step towards working with Liverpool City Council and reaching thousands of people across greater Sydney.
Cash or in-kind contributions are subject to Council's Incoming Sponsorship Policy.
Contact the Events team directly to discuss an opportunity that is right for you and your organisation: email@example.com
Event Stall EOI
Council regularly seeks expressions of interest from food vendors, artists and crafts people (and the like) to hold a stall at our major events.
Further information may be requested once your application has been successful. All stallholders must have valid public liability cover before participating at any of our events.
It must be noted that a range of entertainers will be secured, pending requirements of the event. Not all applicants will be successful, however information will be added to the Liverpool City Council entertainment database for future consideration. Successful performers and entertainers will be contacted via phone to confirm their availability. Performer applications will close one month before each event date. Performers who send their application after the closing date will be added to our performer database and may be contacted in the future. Please contact our Events Team if you wish to be removed from this database at any time.
By filling out this form, you accept that your details may be forwarded on to other Council departments seeking performers for smaller events and activities.
Council always requires volunteer support at our events. If you are interested in volunteering, please email your name, contact number to the Evens team: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you require any further assistance in regards to completing an expression of interest form or wish to speak to the Events team to discuss which opportunity might be right for you, email email@example.com and a suitable staff member will be in contact.
Current EOIs for Events
Council’s Pop Up Project is for start-ups, social enterprises, community groups or artists that are looking to set up a temporary retail shop in the Liverpool CBD.
The aim of this project is to develop vibrant and interesting destinations that attract visitors to the area and encourage greater activation of the CBD. The shopfront should provide visitors with a memorable retail experience both in terms of the unique products/services on offer and how customers are engaged.
Potential Pop Up concepts could include:
- Studio or gallery which has artworks for purchase;
- Hybrid businesses that combine two or more products/services, for example: a book exchange and hand-made artisan products or a tea shop (packaged) and florist;
- Artist co-op selling a range of products from local artists and engaging customers through sharing the stories of the makers;
- Made to fit upcycled clothing store.
If you would like to express interest in participating in the Pop Up Project contact Council’s Small Business Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
