As the sun sets and dusk ensues over Liverpool, Macquarie Mall will come alive with the ‘Most Blessed Nights’ Street Food Market every weekend of Ramadan, showcasing the many tantalising flavours of Liverpool. Ramadan is a sacred time for many in our community and the exciting night markets are coming back to reignite the tastebuds of Liverpool in 2024. These blessed nights will see Macquarie Mall transform into a bustling bazaar where the community can gather, indulge in good food and celebrate the values that underpin our city: unity, family, and togetherness.
We are inviting food vendors from all over Sydney to join us in the celebration of community and the joy of sharing a meal. Vendors will have the opportunity to delight the senses of thousands of visitors by showcasing sweet and savory delicacies from their corner of the globe.
‘Most Blessed Nights’ Street Food Market will be held from 6pm – 12am on the below dates, in Macquarie Mall, Liverpool.

LIVERPOOL TOURISM & CBD COMMITTEE
Liverpool City Council is calling for expressions of interest for up to 20 nominations from persons who live, work in and/ or own businesses within the Liverpool LGA to be appointed by Council to join the Liverpool Tourism and CBD Committee, an advisory committee to Council. Council will appoint community representatives for an initial term of two years. Committee members serve in a voluntary capacity.
The functions of the Committee are to:
- Raise local economic, social and cultural development issues, and make recommendations for solutions and actions;
- Advise on the development and implementation of the City Activation Strategy;
- Advise on the development and implementation of the Destination Management Plan;
- Create, seek and lobby for opportunities that can enhance the visitor economy and/or an economic benefit to Liverpool; and
- Report recommendations to council for decisions to be made against Council’s overall provide strategic direction.
The first meeting of the Committee for new members is expected to be held in June 2023. Further meetings will be held bi-monthly.
Council will receive expressions of interest for Committee membership up until 5:00pm on Friday 5 May 2023.
