'Connected Liverpool 2040' is Council's Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS). It is Council’s long-term plan to shape Liverpool’s future which will help guide the development of suburbs and balance the need for housing, jobs and services as well as parks, open spaces and the natural environment.
The LSPS was prepared in mid-2019 and has now been finalised following extensive community consultation. The final document has been published on the NSW Planning Portal and can also be downloaded below.
Liverpool City Council adopted the following Land Use Strategies on 26th August 2020.
- Centres and Corridors Strategy
- Industrial and Employment Lands Strategy
- Liverpool Local Housing Strategy
These Strategies contain a number of short, medium and long term actions, to inform strategic planning processes by Council, including the Liverpool Local Environmental Plan Review.
