Liverpool City Council is committed to supporting local rising talent who exemplify South West Sydney through performing arts, arts, culture and sport.

Council offers a number of support initiatives to help promote our talented superstars including:

Featured below are Liverpool’s current local sensations who have excelled in their fields of passion to reach state, national and international successes.

Lara Dabbagh

Lara Dabbagh a local singer who performs at council events and was a finalist on the Voice Australia.

Lara D is a South West Sydney singing sensation who has performed at many council community events including Australia Day.

Lara D made the top 12 performers in this year’s series of The Voice Australia.
Having attracted the attention of a number of record labels, Lara D plans move to LA to further her career.


Sophie Dalisay

Sophie Dalisay a local singer who competed on The Voice 2017 in the Philippines.

Sophie Dalisay regularly shares her incredible vocals at Liverpool’s Citizenship Ceremonies and community events.

She competed on The Voice Teens Philippines 2017 reaching the battle rounds on the show. “Being the only contestant from Western Sydney, Australia, I felt very honoured and privileged to have been given the opportunity. The delightful experience and the excellent TV exposure were just one of the factors that boosted my confidence whenever I was given the chance to perform and represent Sydney,” Sophie Dalisay said.

Future plans

Sophie is keen to finish her studies in Architecture and hopes to get onto another television show like ‘The Voice’.
