Voyager Point

The Voyager Point Environment Group conducts restoration activities in the suburb of Voyager Park.

They have previously conducted bush restoration at the entrance to Voyager Point (corner of Heathcote Road and The Avenue) and also at the footbridge crossing the Georges River.

The group focuses on weeding, revegetation with locally native plant species, and mulching. The group has been part of Council's Environment Volunteer Program (EVP) since May 2004 and the group's enthusiasm continues to grow each year.

The group won a merit award for achievement as a community group from Liverpool's Volunteer Resource Centre.
