The Harmony Cup 2026 brings that spirit to life through a unique football tournament and cultural festival celebrating the people, communities and cultures that make Liverpool one of Australia's most diverse and passionate football communities.
Over one big day, Harmony Cup will bring together players, schools, families, businesses and community organisations in a celebration of football and community connection.

The Harmony Cup 2026 is a community football tournament designed to promote social cohesion, cultural connection, community participation, and healthy competition through sport.
Delivered as a one-day football showcase at Hammondville Oval, the event will bring together community teams, families and spectators for a day of competition, inclusion and community celebration, culminating in the Harmony Cup Grand Final and presentation ceremony.
The Harmony Cup brings together 16 community teams in a multicultural football tournament that celebrates diversity, inclusion and community connection through sport.
The competition features a group stage and finals series, ensuring every team has the opportunity to compete beyond the initial rounds.
- 16 community teams representing diverse cultural backgrounds
- Four groups of four teams
- Three guaranteed group-stage matches for every team
- Top two teams from each group progress to the Cup Finals Series
- Third and fourth placed teams progress to the Finals Series
- A finals pathway for every team, ensuring all participants remain involved throughout the tournament
- An opportunity to foster community pride, build cross-cultural connections and celebrate the unifying power of football

The Harmony Cup Schools Futsal Competition brings primary school students from across Liverpool together for a day of sport, teamwork and cultural connection.
Delivered as part of Harmony Cup 2026, this free schools competition uses a fun and accessible futsal format to encourage participation, build friendships and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes Liverpool one of Australia's most vibrant communities.
The event provides students with the opportunity to represent their school, connect with peers from different backgrounds and experience the power of sport to unite communities. More than a competition, the Schools Futsal Cup is a celebration of inclusion, belonging and community spirit.

The Schools Futsal Competition is a youth participation initiative within Harmony Cup 2026, designed to bring young people together through sport in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Open to primary schools across Liverpool, the competition focuses on participation, teamwork and positive experiences for all students. Schools are encouraged to nominate teams that reflect the diversity and spirit of their school community, creating opportunities for students to develop new friendships, build confidence and enjoy healthy, active recreation.
Futsal is a fast-paced and inclusive game that encourages teamwork, communication and skill development, making it an ideal format for students of varying abilities and experience levels.
By taking part in the Harmony Cup Schools Futsal Competition, students will:
- Celebrate cultural diversity through sport
- Build friendships with students from across Liverpool
- Develop teamwork, communication and leadership skills
- Strengthen their sense of belonging and inclusion
- Enjoy a fun and active day representing their school
