Fifteenth Avenue Upgrade

Fifteenth Avenue, Cowpasture Road to Devonshire Road

Budget for project design: $4.8 million
Start date: July 2018
Finish date: February 2022

Council is investigating a rapid transit corridor along Fifteenth Avenue from Liverpool to Western Sydney International Airport.
The corridor would include dedicated rapid transit lanes for public transport and multi traffic lanes. Council aims to achieve a travel time from Liverpool to the airport of 25-30 minutes using trackless trams or autonomous vehicles. Click here for current project information.

The project involves construction of a missing road link under the M7 Motorway, linking Aviation Avenue and Middleton Drive. This year’s budget includes funding for detailed design of grade separation of the M7 cycleway at Middleton Grange and detailed design of missing link between Middleton Road and Aviation Road.
