Due to Covid-19, instead of the annual National Tree Day community tree planting event, we are calling on residents to send in their comments, images or a short video (maximum 20 seconds) telling us - ‘Why our local trees and green spaces are important to you’, before 16 August 2020.

People of all ages and backgrounds can get involved. Each entry will go in a draw to win a $50 voucher from Bunnings and some native plant seedlings. Your message will be used to promote Liverpool's natural environment.

Copyright is retained by the artist(s) who provide a non-exclusive licence to Liverpool City Council in relation to the Greening Liverpool project -on Council digital platforms and for publicity purposes.

This means that Liverpool City Council has the right to present the work (in relation to this project) but that you can also present it elsewhere.

Images provided will only be utilised in relation to this project and in publicity in relation to the project. All work posted online will be accompanied by contributor credits/acknowledgement.

Important information about how your work will be used

By submitting this form, you are agreeing to grant Liverpool City Council a non-exclusive licence for the work you upload in this form. The licence gives Liverpool City Council the right and permission to show the work on: Liverpool City Council's social media platforms, websites, newsletters and digital screens/projections.
