Waste and Recycling

The restrictions on the collection of eligible paints and oils have been removed, amounts accepted are as they were previously, being 100L per day of paint and 20L per day of oil, measured according to the size of the container, not the contents."

As a safety tip, when driving into the CRC, keep your vehicle well away from the yellow safety line on your left, as this shows where staff will be walking and taking materials out of your vehicle. Once your car is stationary inside the CRC, please turn the engine OFF.

To all residents, please be aware that waste truck drivers of our contractors, JJ’s Waste, have been instructed not to interact with residents. They are required to concentrate only on their job. Residents should not try to talk with or catch the attention of drivers, and should never chase after, or try to intercept waste trucks - this is dangerous and aggressive. Any issues with waste collection should be reported to Council. Please also note, waste truck drivers are instructed not to pick up overloaded bins where there is a strong likelihood that if they do so, the contents will spill all over the road. It is a requirement that domestic bins be presented for emptying with lids fully closed.

We thank you for your cooperation in keeping all members of our community safe, and for helping us keep the streets and our wider environment clean.

Dear Residents – If you would like to report an issue with your bin please complete an online form here
