International Women’s Day Small Grants 2024

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global initiative celebrating the social, economic, cultural,
and political achievements of women. Held annually on 8 March, IWD marks a call to action for
accelerating women's equality.

To celebrate IWD 2024, Council invited community groups and organisations to apply for funding
under the IWD Small Grants Program to deliver events or activities across the weeks of 4-15
March 2024.

Grants of up to $1,000 per organisation/group were available for eligible applicants to support
events and activities which highlight and celebrate the achievements of women in Liverpool.
