Work Experience Application

Applications are accepted and reviewed 4 times per year, see the tables below for application closing dates.

Students are entitled to work a maximum of 10 weeks unpaid work experience with Council. This does not need to be in one block of time and can be distributed over various days and weeks, in agreement with the relevant supervisor.

Insurance

Here you will need to attach a Certificate of Currency, which is a document confirming that you will be covered for Public Liability under an insurance policy for the period of your work experience. If you are currently study (High School, College, University), your education institution may provide this for you. Otherwise, you will need to purchase your own insurance.
