Light Horse Park

Light Horse Park is a significant recreational space in close proximity to the Liverpool City Centre.

Light Horse Park has had bushland restoration works completed on site, which was funded by Council's previous Environmental Levy Program called the "Environment Plan".

The Light Horse Park Environment Group carries out on-ground restoration activities, including weeding, planting and litter collection. The group has worked along the bank of the Georges River, restoring locally native vegetation, which will help attract native animals to the area. Currently the group is focusing on a community tree planting area located near the entrance of the park.

When: last Saturday of each month

Activity time: 9am – 11am

Group meets: in the Light Horse Park car park at the end of Riverpark Drive Liverpool
